Invincible AI and getting stuck in wall on last trader mission?
So I had something really frustrating happen to me and I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

I was playing in Cascade Hills on dread zone difficulty and was doing the last trader legacy mission. I went to the warehouse they specified with a supply of pain killers, energy drinks, a shotgun with thirty extra rounds and a 9mm sub machine gun. I also had that ice hook you get from the bounty trader. I figured I was good to go.

So once the ambush happened, I was able to take out two of the human enemy AI with relative ease. But I could not for the life of me kill the third. I lost count of how many times I downed them but no matter how many times I shot them while they were on the ground, they would not die. They would just get back up again. I went through all my shotgun and 9mm ammo trying to kill them.

Eventually, all I could do was melee. Same thing. They would go down and I couldn't kill them while on the ground. I ended up running out of stims and meds until I was almost dead so I just hid in a room. The only friendly AI that was left kept shooting them and downing them but again, they wouldn't die. After a coupled minutes I said screw it and just went for it but they killed me. I was mad but not too upset about the character loss as I didn't plan to use them on my next playthough. Dude was always crying about his dead wife lol.

So I grabbed another trader character and this time I was able to kill all three enemy humans with zero problems. Once downed, I was able to execute them. Except this time, once the zeds came, I got stuck partially inside a wall. It took me like two minutes of struggling to finally get out of the wall. Fortunately, for some reason, the zeds could not hit me while I was stuck in the wall but I was able to hit them. Weird.

I did get out and was able to finish. I got lucky and a Jug got stuck in a doorway like an idiot so we were able to just pick him off easy.

Seems like this mission has a lot of issues. Then again, the whole game does but I still get a lot of enjoyment from it.

Anyway, I was just curious if anyone had anything similar happen on this mission?

I didnt have the problems you had there, but the mission does seem to be a bit on the wonky side for sure.
The raiders first didnt trigger correctly. They were like on the other side of the street, and didnt really move until I got a bit closer.
Then they started moving in like they were supposed to.

The zombie waves worked, except for the Juggernaut who wasnt able to fit through any of the doors. I didnt kill him, but for some reason the game just said he's dead and moved on.
(so basically the Juggernaut was still stomping and roaring around outside, but the quest was completed)
I played on Providence Ridge, but on Normal.

Molotovs can save you from any troubles with anyone inside walls or rocks, or finish anyone on the ground.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the Jug. I had the same thing happen. He couldn't get through any of the doors lol. He just stood at at the double doors while I let the AI slowly pick him off.

It wasn't the enemy in the walls but me. Also, I didn't have a molotov to throw at the downed AI but I'm skeptical that it would have worked since they seemed invincible but maybe you are right. The game is weird lol.
