the game does support offline play, I own it from the windows store and whenever my connection isn't working, it just switches to offline.

But I believe you still need to register to XBox Live to set up the game, so you do need an XBox Live account to begin. Maybe I'm just confused about what's being asked.

You need to register the game. After that you can play offline SP mode. Xbox live app will be active and the services related to this game.

It have a very long loading time in offline mode (with offline mode i mean non active internet connection).

Next time, remember to do extra layer of security. I get my info direct to my phone. Even if i forget somthing, i get the info needed to continue and correct whatever i was asking for related to my account.

yes but if you change your number or they steal your phone then you don't solve the problem

You can still use your 2'end mail, as backupmail.
You have your credit card number as proof if you did buy somthing from them.
You still have your secret question and answer.
By contacting ms support. you can always ask what alse you need to do, to prove that it is your account

i know steam users do need to have a xbox live account to register this game.
(but for you i think you might want to create a fresh new ms account or xbox live account or contact ms support for deeper advice what is what)

what ever happens. do not forget to do extra layer of security or multiply of them. Write them down and save it in secure location. me self write down to paper and have the info there just in case something fails

yeah sadly it will send you to the launcher over there. But a few games already do this when you launch from steam. They open up the game launcher for that specific game. Such as Total War games or Civ games.

The nice thing is the xbox launcher has been around for awhile for PC so you shouldn't be encountering many issues on their end. But with release of new games you never know how the client is going to react after being released.
