Make sure you reselect the level and hardness, it resets that after changing to a friends only game.
At the main menu click multiplayer. On the new screen at the bottom left click Advanced Options. Now at the top left the game mode can be changed along with the connection (Online, Offline, Friends-Only, LAN); choose Online of course. Then click "Find Match"...you'll have to sit for 3-5 minutes before the matchmaker decides there's nobody online and you can probably play by yourself in bughunt mode. If there are other players online...if there are....they should be able to join your game whenever.
Um, I want to host a public game, not a friends only game. None of my friends are willing to spend money on this game to get it lol. Is there no way to host a game publically?
LOL ya me too. Gearbox didn't think that was a good idea /shrug
You might try inviting people to a friends only, get a lobby going with people in it, then switch it back to public. But that means a randomly selected host and a short wait for the lobby to search for an active host & players.
everyone add me!
