How to start co-op campaign

I want to play de DLC on ultimate badass. but how do i start a co-op game. All i can choose is find game or start a LAN-game. How do other people start a co-op game which can be found by other players?

Can anyone explain this to me?

goto advanced options, select friends-only. Then you can start the game. The note at the the top that says friends-only/party is misleading.

Just goto advanced options, select friends only. But when you do whatever hardness and map you selected will have to be reselected.

Once you get 2 people in it I think you can put it back to online, or use friend invites. I'd join but my computer is down and my wifes GPU (AMD 6450 sucks).

You should have seen my stuttering along with a fiber optic host, with Ano105 as the host my ping was under 100 and I stil had to reduce my resolution to 1400 with zero on my video settings to see straight. Wife make me promise that I wouldn't touch her computer (she needs a better video card). I just tried an .ini trick telling the coputer that my GPU is the best. I'll see if that works. :D I"m going to tell the ini compat files that I have a 5 and that my card is great.

On Asylum one player joined and we finished it on UBA. The 2nd mission i played on my own until the training area. There someone joined and later another. They both left just after blowing up the bridge between ships. I was scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but I managed to pull it of. Those lurkers at the end freak me out. I already have the 3rd and 4th on UBA which i did with 3 others.

Anyway, thanks for the help :) Now i got the achievement and made some new online friends. And the overall experience was great. I love the new DLC.

Good to know this. I always thought this way only friends or via invites can be join anyone.

I'm still a bit confused on this. So if I put the setting to Friends Only and start the game, people can still join when the game is in progress? Or do you have to wait in the lobby till more people join, and THEN start the game?

In either case, I'm left wondering what the point of Friends Only mode is if random people can just join anyways lol. Not that I would mind of course. Seeing another person in a lobby for any reason would be cause for celebration. :P

When i started the game (and thus set the game to friends only) people joined when i was playing. So you don't have to wait in the lobby :)

I had it on (friend only) Coop last night and I could start by myself and a friend joined. Online is where you wait in the lobby for someone to join. Offline is single player, or they just have camapaign.

A very helpful thread that I must revive for the sake of it.

1.) first you klick campaign

2.) than open a new list. one of the last options in the text is coop.

3.) than you klick coop.

3.) now you have to invite 1-3 friends.

4.) you see that you can not start the game!
you klick of options...probably standing there "online"

5.) you clicking with the arrow so long that there stands "only with friends"
Above you can set campagnie to DLC campagnie.

6.) than you klick back.

7.) now you can start the game in the top left corner


here are screen shots "the text is in german" but dont worry you see the arrow from my mouse.
the position from the options are in all countries the same.
