The original video was changed to private only and there hasn't been much news from the mod creator but this game was the ♥♥♥♥

More than likely they got hit with a cease and desist letter. Best thing to do with mods is name it completely different from what your emulating. Not always successful but at least your not advertising loudly. One does have to laugh at Gearbox though. Amateurs did a better job than a AAA company.................by a long long stretch. This shows clearly...........how did Gearbox screw this up. How do you screw up an Aliens game? Dark, steam, tension............easy.

gearbox or sega had them shutdown if I'm not mistaken with a cease and desist because they knew it threatend this turd they created.

saddest and most hypocritical part is this is how all those developers got their start, mods......I've seen it happen so many times in this industry it's sickening.

Such a damn shame this was stamped out, looks great and sounds so damn awesome. Demonstrates just how much gearbox couldn't even get the f-ing pulse rifle sounds right, let alone anything else.

Well, now i suddenly feel the need to reinstall avp and avp2.

yeah gearbox did get their start with mods, but they have nothing to do with the C&D that fox sent to this mod. Fox owns the rights.

While obviously not of the same calibur, there's also a quite good aliens mod for killing floor (if u got the game) you can get off of steam workshop
