Frosts Flamethrower...
Do you get to keep it, like Hudson's pulse-rifle or Hick's shotgun ? I cam across it in one of the campaign missions, picked it up however it doesn't seem to be listed in my arsenal.

Was really wanting to use Frost's flamer, with hudson's pulse rifle.

I felt the same way about vasquez's smart gun. You can only use it for a brief momment. I was all like wtf. Fails all around lol. 4 round burst hudson rifle. at least his is almost to the mk1 that we all wanted

No. You can't carry the flamer or the smartgun by choice. Frost's flamer and Vasquez' Smartgun are one time use only. After you find 'em the game detects that you already have those weapons and you will never see them again.

Aahh... That sucks.... SO even if i replayed that mission, i wouldn't refind it to use again, in that mission ? Thats an even bigger bummer

I know right, two of the most Iconic weapons in the Alien universe and it is there one minute and gone the next. I mean what was their excuse for this "Well the smart gun is very OP" what were they afraid of, that the AI was going to leave the campaign and take to the forums complaining of being spawn camped.

I mean all they had to do was make the ammo rare and make it so using the smart gun in close cramped areas was annoying. Like, up the sway factor when is was equiped, make it feel like it is a heavy cumbersom weapon, that players had trouble turning and moving with.

What's even more crappy about it. I was doing this in Coop the first time thru. I was in the room and got credit for Vasquez's smart gun found. But I didn't get to use it once. In fact after 3 playthru's I still haven't gotten to use it. You can verify that in my achievements for the game. Talk about f'n sad panda!!

That's actually not true, if you're playing COOP, you can still pick it up and use it the same mission.

to be fair, they didn't seem to make much difference in the movie.... 8)
