Game keeps crashing?

I run the game from the shortcut on my desktop. it rund for 5 seconds. than studders and than Freezes while loading and goes back to desktop. WTF?

yup loaded the game up today after a few weeks rest and same thing happens to me and ive tryed everything to get it working

It's run fine for me all day, then all of a sudden it crashes after not even five minutes of being the in the game.

Same here... I lowered graphics slightly to see if it was a DirectX error. This changed nothing.

Yep, I played all night yesterday, and when I booted up my PC today, I wasn't even able to run the game for 5 seconds, for it to crash. I can run the game EASILY on max, and yet it gives me this ♥♥♥♥. All I can conclude is that I regret this game badly, and will never buy those pieces of ♥♥♥♥ Sega produces. I have asked for support and they didn't even respond yet. I should've listened to my mate and leave this game in the store.

As usual: Way to f**king go Sega, ruining another game in a great title.

Same here, 3 seconds into starting Aliens: I restarted computer, said there was a steam update. I think the normal "steam updating" I'll try again. Still crashes. I'll check Gearbox.

2 other friends have same thing. Blitherpaladin and Fury161.

Hi there, I just started having the same crash too. Maybe it´s a problem related to the hotfixes?
I recall reading they are applied in the "press Start" screen, more or less when it crashes for me.

I can load my game, and see 5 seconds of the game, then it says: "Alien: Colonial Marines.exe has stopped working"
