NO English language support? Are you insane?

Not that i'm missin' a lot, but i'm Aliens fan and wanted to take a look at this abomination, when the price drops. And recently i discovered that there's only Russian Language for Russian Federation? What were they thinking?

Yup, i wanna hear a true Bien's voice... Russian localization is very good, but why i can't choose original voice and rus subtitles for more atmosphere ?

perhaps the language can be changed?

Open steam library, right click ACM > Properties > Languages > *select language*

other websites report just deleting files labeled RUS will force the game to play in english

Actualy i found the solution in a web: you need to change some lines in reg file.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FLT\Steam\49540]
"Language"="english"

wich file exactly is that?

It's not a file, it's a reg key.

goto run, type regedit. Look for that key the poster listed.

I find better: Documents\my games\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\Config\ PecanEngine.ini

change: WwiseLanguageEquivalent_RUS=Russian

to: WwiseLanguageEquivalent_RUS=English(US)

Now i have english sound with russian subtitles. Only in intro still have rus voice )))

Re-installed the game and stuck with the same issues:

a) no english language.

b) game stuck in the endless restarting loop.

First of all, I want to say to 2013-myself what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ you are and didn't elaborate on the solution. No, really, ♥♥♥♥ me. Couldn't you be more vague?

Sadly, the solution I checked as an answer doesn't work for me. Each time the game restarts, it rewrites the file to default values.

Known (possible) solutions.

[1] - "Blatant Swapping"

Ok, just swapping RUS and INT in \Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\Localization turns text into gibberish.

[2] - "ini Editing"

Editing PecanEngine.ini at Documents\My Games\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\Config (as shown above) has no effect.

[3] - "Regedit magic"

1) Press Win+R

2) type: "regedit"

3) go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\valve\Steam\Apps\49540

4) Create a string with the name "Language" and value "english".

5) it's still russian >:-0.

[4] - "Blatant Swapping Strikes Back"

go to steamapps\common\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\CookedPCConsole

and swap the names of folders English(US) and Russian.

and... it doesn't work either.

[5] - "No hope"

Delet RUS folder and start the game.

Boom, your game is fully in english
