This game demands a class action lawsuit
This game is an unplayable buggy mess. even with the patches that fans have made for it, and its absolutely unacceptable. How long are we going to tolerate this crap?

uh the game is 10 years old, what are you complaining about, single player is 100% playable

Yes, but bad trigger bugs.

It's fun (when it's running), so I gave it a positive. But you should report the developer for such crap.
Whether 10 years or 10 days.
I also wrote that as a warning in my review.
Just because the atmosphere is good thanks to the mods, Gearbox is still a bunch of rip-offs. The cutscenes alone are nauseating. The synchro is so different in quality that it's unbelievable.

That's it!

except it isnt?
game crashed at Hadley's Hope and required a player made mod to patch and fix. NPCs get stuck and require multiple reloads to progress. The Stasis Interrupted DLC CTDs after Lisbeth gets her chest burst. And thats not including the rest of the spaghetti code. 10 years or 10 days doesnt matter in the least. If the game is being sold, it matters. A brand new 2013 Dodge Charger fresh out of the factory in 2024 that doesnt run half the time and requires you to take it to a mechanic because several parts are faulty, is grounds for a lawsuit.
Why do you feel the need to stan for this company?

Well, I lately played the game for the first time. No crashes or bugs at all. Also multiplayer worked perfectly fine. Nothing patched or modded, straight stock. Barely anyone experiencing those issues like you. Probably the problem is on your system, like faulty or incompatible gpu, cpu, drivers or something else OS related. What you have experienced seems pretty out of the ordinary.

I didnt experience any of the bugs often reported at the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, but that doesnt mean they didnt happen for others. im happy for you, but plenty of other people have reported this game being a buggy mess.

'A class action lawsuit filed in April 2013 by Roger Damion Perrine and John Locke alleged that Gearbox and Sega falsely advertised Aliens: Colonial Marines by showing demos at trade shows that did not accurately represent the final product. Sega and the plaintiffs reached a settlement in late 2014, wherein Sega agreed to pay $1.25 million to the class. The plaintiffs dropped Gearbox from the suit in May 2015.'

Nothing wrong with the game, Your problems started when you used mods, that is were the issue is. They add more problems to the game that never existed. Especially GFX overhaul.

Before i used the mod, i couldnt progress past the initial level of going through the umbilical to the other ship and entering the Hangar after the guys got wounded.

seriously, what is with you people? i know theres the pscyhological trait of thinking everyone is like you and has the same thoughts or experiences. but youre seriously out here thinking that because the game worked for you, that it does for everyone?

You really need TemplarGFX 6.2. It transforms the game completely. It is so awesome.

It's just so sad for the console users. They never had a chance to fix the bugs, and the crappy company behind it makes its money with borderlands instead of fixing a licenced game.

At the latest when the tether bug became public knowledge and was even reported in all media (including regular newspapers), Gearbox should have forced someone to correct this small but crucial typo. After all, this error was responsible for around 90% of the bad ratings, as the AI is otherwise very, very stupid and without full access to its function. At that time, the last generation of consoles was still current.

Unfortunately I can confirm that. The vanilla version had it's bug already, especially the launching loop after exiting the game. But the Overhaul Mod added even more bugs that weren't there before. Sure it made the game look better, but it broke other things that worked fine before. Suddenly I could no longer over or close doors normally. Instead I had to seal it shut every time I wanted to enter a new room. At some point I was no longer able to progress. And Stasis Interrupted got completely broken down by that mod to the point of being unplayable.
