ACM won't launch

I have tried deleting the appcache and restarting steam.I have tried checking the gameengine setting and the file is set to true.

sigh,I cant get this game to run.

I looked for old cache files in documents folder and deleted settings and cache,then re-verified game in steam and it should work.

yea i've been seeing people suggest going to the documents folder only problem is i don't have anything in my documents folder. i just tried deleting the pecangames folder or whatever it was. hopefully that fixes it

in documents you should have folder named "my games". Look into it

You may need a new ACM.exe. Happens from time to time, for example when you move it to a new steam installation - At least if the ACM.exe is 4 GB patched.
The original exe should have about 32MB file size, not 13kb like the patched one. (You can patch it afterwards)
It's located in steamapps\common\Aliens Colonial Marines\Binaries\Win32.
Reimport the original or verify after deleating the current exe file.

btw: If it was patched, the original should still exist as _ACM.exe in the same folder.

Yo I got the easy fix me and my three other friends did it. All we did was go to documents my games aliens colonial marines and we deleted that entire folder titled aliens colonial marines . Launched it and the game updated itself and it works
