Bug Hunt... HOW!!!

OK guys... you can start a solo game of bug hunt... or you can sit in match making hell forever. How do you force start a game of bug hunt on your own, but with multiplayer enabled so people can drop in... honestly it's th eonly good thing about this game and even then they managed to ♥♥♥♥ it up.

Greetings, dear Elensar, what's up?
Nice to see you again and glad to read you wish to play this.
Don't worry, that option is available since the beginning & for every mode.
Quite simple since March 19, 2013 ( Bug Hunt DLC release ), here's the sweet path, buddy:

_ Main Menu
_ Versus
_ Bug Hunt
_ Advanced Options ( bottom / left corner )
_ Network Mode
_ Select Friends-Only ( * )
_ Click on Create Game
_ and, then, simply Start Game.

Same path and result for any other Co-op' / PvP multiplayer mode since February 12, 2013.
( * ) No worries, some of non-Steam-Friends will be able to join.

Thanks for the reply, Is there no way to set it so that anyone can join? PUB players etc? ahhh well. better than nothing.

You're kidding, right? Anyway, if you'd like to play Solo ( easier, different but nice as well ):

_ Bug Hunt

_ Network Mode
_ Select Offline
_ Click on Create Game
_ and, then, simply Start Game.

No I don't want to play solo :) I want to start a game in multiplayer mode without the need for friends only. Solo and friends only will let you start the game regardless of players, but the public anyone can play mode just enters matchmaking hell and finds noone and so the game can't start.

Solo is fun but gets lonely, and is easy once the sentries are established :D

Since 2013, many players are often joining my Bug Hunt games. And, you know what, they are not always Steam Friends of mine. Wanna maybe try together later today?
I'll have some Bug Hunt in 30/45 minutes or so.

Awesome gimmie a shout next time you're on, I was set for playing yesterday but ended up being called away to deal with something. Looking forward to getting a few rounds in.

Wish I had access to the armour and stuff, I can't get the 3 pounces needed in 10 seconds with the Lurker so I'm unable to progress teh challenges.
