Should I buy all DLC for this game now?

I'm afraid because they took Duels of the Planeswalkers (first game) out of the Steam Store. Are there any achievements related to the DLC for 2012? Should I buy DLC content now since 2014 is nearing? Thanks for your input.

Thanks for contacting us at Wizards of the Coast! From the sounds of it this is in regards to our Duels of the Planeswalker games 2012 & 2013, is that correct? If it is I would like to let you know that we only actually are able to provide support for the most recent iteration of the game which is Duels of the Planeswalkers - Magic: 2014.

Pretty dumb if you ask me, they should just provide one main Magic client and add expansions and updates to that to stop continually cannibalizing their own communities and let players be able to play together in one growing pool.

To answer your question, by the way, The only DLC I have is the expansion (not the decks though), and I believe there are a few achievements related to it, but I wouldn't bother getting the decks; you can unlock them all through gameplay fairly easily.

The first DotP is still in the store. Just not the basic version anymore, but you can get the Gold bundle with all extensions. I only recently bought it myself after playing Magic 2014 :)
As for 2012, whether you should get the DLC _now_ is probably something you can answer for yourself. There are more achievements added, there are new decks.
