For those who have not read my message on the store page, I'm Nick, the solo developer of Journeybound. I've worked on this game for so many hours that I almost don't want to think about it, but I'm also very happy with how it turned out. It's my first game, but I've put a lot of care into making sure it is as bug free and polished as possible. I think I may have set a record for the most QoL ever put into an idle game (the desktop widget was a real battle to get working how I wanted it). I sincerely hope you enjoy the game as much as I enjoyed making it.

• 17 skills, including three combat styles, Fortitude, Gathering skills, Crafting skills, Sanctum, Farming, all going from level 1 to 99, ensuring you have plenty to do for a long time ahead

• Climb the guild ranks from a fresh Rank F recruit to the heights of Rank S. Each Rank comes with its own quests and storylines, fresh items, new enemies, companions to recruit, relics, artifacts to make, and lots of content!

• Gauntlets to farm and dungeons with bosses, loot tables, and a bestiary to fill. Defeating enemies will reveal their stats, attack types, speeds, resistances, special attacks, and loot in the bestiary. Are you a min-maxer that likes optimizing your builds or xp/hr? All the details in here are for you!

• Quests and discovery chains that uncover the story of the world that summoned you. I did my best to ensure the rewards from every quest feel worthwhile, whether it be a new relic, rescuing a companion, new abilities, or new zones for content. The vast majority are entirely optional, but all are worth doing

• Companions, farming, and a Keep of your own to build up. Companions are our main offline progression system. You'll recruit your Companions through the tavern to start, but will meet, help, and rescue many more through our quest systems. You eventually can have up to three companions at a time, doing far more work than you would ever do alone. It is a very powerful offline system, and your crops & animals will grow offline always!

• Tavern games, titles, achievements, and a collection log for the completionists. Big fan of trying to get every last thing in game? Just like our combat bestiary, there is also a log for wyldcraft and tidecraft. There are both Steam and game achievements for Journeybound, along with a whole bunch of titles to unlock. While not required, there is a LOT to do for a completionist gamer

• ZERO data collection, pay-to-win, time gated "energy", or anything that gets in the way of playing - Part of why I made this game is because I was exhausted with every game harvesting our data or trying to squeeze money out of players. This is a single player game. The only server you connect to is Steam for cloud saves and achievements, but even then you can run Steam offline or turn off cloud saving. There are no ads, no boosts, no telemetry. You just get to play the game!
