The game is good for some cardio sesh, improve your striking skills, or whatever you want to work on that's related to the game. Just look at my progress from when I first started to now.

Anyways if the latter is actual real life boxing then i'll recommend that over the game anyday. Unless you mean the game on steam then avoid that one and wait for the eSports Boxing Club's Alpha/Beta.
Yeah, I tried the Real Boxing game on Steam today and it sucks. Graphics are decent, but the punches lag, and there seems to be no footwork options. Think they'll ever port the Fight Night series to pc? TOTF looks pretty cool, but some have mentioned that the opponent is too close (and that looks to be the case in some Youtube videos I've seen). Has that been your experience, and is that distance/view perception adjustable?
Watched your vid. Good job. Which VR headet did you use, and does it stay securely in place on your head? Is it uncomfortable? Been thinking about getting a VR headset, but from what I've read, and the video reviews I've seen, they all seem to have pros and cons.
TotF requires at least a certain sized play area (2m by 1.5m / 6.5ft by 5ft) to allow you and your opponent to stand outside of each other's ranges. Also, throughout the game's development, there have been times where opponents stood closer than other times (especially one opponent that has shorter height and limbs). People here without the conflict of interest that I have can give their opinion on if it's still a problem.
Unless you're opposed to having a Facebook account or understandably afraid it will get banned and thus block your access to all your games (make sure not to use a dummy Facebook account, because that gets you banned for sure), I can really only recommend the Quest 2. It's a great headset with unbeatable value, and in my opinion is easily the best way to play TotF since there's no cord and you can take the headset anywhere you have the most room. It's got a decently large game library these days, especially if you count SideQuest, and there are a couple different ways you can connect it to your PC to play PCVR games if you have a powerful enough gaming machine for it.
If you don't want to deal with the Facebook account stuff, then I don't have any easy recommendations. If you have the cash then you'll probably want to look at the Index or possibly the HP Reverb G2.
Thanks for the info. Good to know should I ever guy a VR headset and play this game.
Just read that Facebook owns Oculus. That, and the fact that you have to sign in to Facebook every time you use it, and that they can ban you, effectively barring you from games you own, is more than enough to prevent me from ever using the Oculus (or any Facebook product for that matter - I don't even use Facebook for all the well known reasons).
Hopefully another company will come out with a good alternative to the Oculus Quest since, as you said, it seems to be one of the best options available, and at a decent price. The Index, and other high-priced options like it, are beyond my means,
