The Thrill of the Fight

Finally KO'd Moneymaker on endurance, maybe my favorite video game accomplishment
For about a month I have been getting decision after decision (Awesome workout at least), but today I got him. I knocked him down early in the 1st and then just kept beating his head in until the 4th when he finally went down again, then a fast flurry for the 2nd knockdown, and I have about 3 minutes left so I took it slow, then when he was dazed I just hammered him with a right hook; no more combos, I wound up for another haymaker right, then another, and one more and it was over. Best part I took almost no damage and saw black & white just once.

I just smothered him, stayed as close as I could and beat him up with short right uppercuts and short left hooks. He eventually kept covering up, but 2 or 3 body shots opened him up. When I was just losing or going to decision I focused too much on the body, not today. I'm usually spent but these last few weeks with him has definitely boosted my stamina. I could go 4 more rounds.

Worst part is I think I had him twice last week but my wireless adapter overheated in the 3rd or 4th both times. A bit cooler this evening but didn't have to go to 5.

I haven't been moving up any difficulty until I KO's each fighter, now I can move up to Outclassed!

A suggestion for you. If you're playing on manual adjustment, move it up by 10% of the value you are at rounded up, unless you're extremely confident in your technique. Overexertion on punches should be avoided especially at this difficulty because you can injure yourself.

Also, by round 4, trauma would have been definitely a factor in this. If you're winning late, that's only because you either did enough damage in earlier rounds or your defense is pretty good.

dam. I can't even beat him on normal yet lol

Keep going, you'll get him! My strategy for him is constant offense. Just complete pressure for 4 rounds and I avoid trying to knock him down unless it just happens. 99% of my shots are to his head. Then in the 5th I go for the KO. Straight Right to Left Hook is my goto. Keep your right hand up when you throw the hook.

I just got to the point where I have KO/TKO'd everyone up to him on Outclassed now. Everyone on outclassed is crazy hard because they will take you out with 1 hit or 1 combo if you put your hands down. I think Duke Knocked me down at least once in each round before I finished him in the final round. Now Money Maker keeps knocking me down with body shots, I can make it to the 5th but he wins. Soon I'll KO him (I hope).

By KO, do you mean 3 knockdown? Or 10 count? I don't know many people who can actually 10 count Moneymaker on Outclassed, if any to begin with without inflating their multiplier.

If you TKO'ed all opponents on normal within 1 or 2 rounds, endurance will push it an extra round or 3 (as you move up). If you're getting decisions, then endurance will be a challenge. Best of luck, if you need pointers, it never hurts to post your struggles.

I have not ever finished him on outclassed, but I have only tried twice at this point. I TKO'd MM on endurance, I only ever 10 counted him on normal. I just noticed my title says KO, my bad got hyped when I beat him.

Continuous overhand hooks should you know where he dodges will get you to win. It can be quite draining to do it. This is the only guy I cannot KO at 1.1x multiplier.

I TKO'd moneymaker in the 3rd on Outclassed! I started up overwhelming him in the first just turning him into hamburger then my wireless disconnected....

I'm irritated now and start over and it goes
R1 he knocks me down once
R2 he knocks me down once, but I'm wearing him down
R3 he knocks me down twice! but I knock him down three times the final time with 10 seconds left in the 3rd.
When you knock him down he comes back up wild.

Right Body Shots to a Left Hook to the chin wore him down, left right left straights when he got separation, and a well place uppercut helped get the final knockdown. HANDS UP at all times

I'm beat [Today was also leg day also], so I decided to cooldown with Alexei on Outclassed and he took me to the 3rd lol

What's your multiplier at when you got your win?
apathybill Sep 28, 2020 @ 9:22pm
I don't use static, but I'm gonna guess between 1.2-1.3

I tried outclassed on 1.2 and I don't think I could keep that up consistently for my workouts without injuring myself. I won the first match with 10-9 rounds but I was absolutely drilling him with left uppercuts and right hooks as hard as I could with good form and making sure I could defend and move. Never even dazed him with over 200 power punches at over 80% accuracy. It just doesn't feel rewarding to me.

You are right, it is not fun. Subsequent times I'd be winning just to be 1 shot by a body shot. I went back to endurance after I got him once.

Moneymaker on Outclassed is more a sigh of relief no matter how the fight goes. The fight is going to be extremely unfair and your options for landing hits usually involves weird loops. Should you survive until round 4 is when trauma would finally kick in. Takes a while but it's your best chance of winning.

I'm trying to beat him using southpaw stance only as opposed to my usual orthodox style, though I think there is a bug in how I conduct myself using southpaw where I can cheese opponents with 1-2 punches.

I have no room to maneveur so it is always a slug fest.

I managed to beat Moneymaker on outclassed only once and I think thats enough. It is just no fun to get constantly KOed to the body with one countershot.

Usualy I go whole rooster on normal without brakes or if I feel espetialy bold that day than whole rooster on endurance.
