Glove Size, what matters?
I guess bigger gloves makes blocking easier, but does smaller gloves lead to more K.O's?

And thank you for creating this game. So many hours of fun so far, so many to go.Where would one turn for news/updates? Hoping for multiplayer, but am fine waiting if it's hard to implement. Rather nothing than go Creed. ;)

Thanks for playing! Right now I generally just use TotF's Steam news feed, and that's where I plan to make any announcements for the time being. I also post on Reddit as u/fyian and might make announcements over there if I have anything particularly significant to say.

TotF1 won't get multiplayer, but if I'm able to make TotF2 multiplayer would be a primary goal for that project. TotF1 just isn't built for it. Stay tuned!

Major Issue Jan 19, 2020 @ 8:15am
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but even with small gloves they are too big, everything is too big. I've played it like year ago and everything was ok but now I can't figure it out.

Weird question, but how tall are you?

The in-game glove sizes should be approximately the size of actual boxing gloves. If you're trying to get to "bare knuckle" size then they're not really designed with that in mind, but that shouldn't have changed since last year.

I'm 176 cm, the in game height seems right but then I get some giant gloves and also my shorts are massive like I would kneel on my knees. I might try to reset all settings if there isn't something left from the version I've played last January if I found where those files are. Even the opponent seems somehow massive like even FoV isn't right or something - I have Oculus Rift. I didn't have any issues back then.

The game does scale based on your height, and if you're too far away from the target height then it can make the game appear too large or too small despite the physical space appearing correctly. However, you're pretty much exactly the height the game is trying to scale to, so you shouldn't notice any size problems because of this.

Is your floor position incorrect? You can test this just by setting a controller on the floor and seeing if it's noticeably below or above the floor you see in the headset. If so, that can affect how tall the game thinks you are.

It sounds like it's not a height scaling issue at all, but I'm not sure what would be causing it. The Oculus SDK (or SteamVR, depending on how you're playing) chooses how far apart to space your "eye cameras", which determines how large or small the world visually appears. I think by default it uses your IPD, so you might try moving the slider around if you have an original Rift with the external cameras or by rerunning the IPD setup if you're using a Rift S.

Do you play the game in SteamVR mode or in native Oculus mode?

Well I don't know why but everything's ok both in SteamVR and Oculus VR API. I've installed OpenVR-AdvancedSettings for the FloorFix, but I didn't even use it yet and it's ok. I had wrong floor level with SteamVR and had to Quick Calibrate with headset on the floor every single time but now it's ok.
Thanks for the help anyway, I really like how much helpful you are and how much you care about this game if everyone was like you world will be much better place. =)

With WMR headsets, if you notice the floor height is off, then I think you'll need to rerun your room scale setup. I can't recall, but I think there's a step where you correct the floor height.
