In development. At least a year out. More details will be released when there are details to release. Keep an eye on the Twitter for an easy way to check for the latest news.
TotF1 was developed by one person with no funding and has a price tag to reflect that. TotF2 has a lot more resources behind it and is being created from the ground up to be what it needs to be, and is not just taking TotF1 as a starting point and tacking things on.
This is wonderful news! Congrats, Ian! I'll be following for sure!
I always wonder how to train evasion. I really interest in that, so when we box against AI, we can dodge with the right technique with the training given by the game too.
I read about thrill of the fight 2 and hope you also make it on quest 2 :)..
Thanks for making this game.
Regarding the sequel: Please don't make the mistake so many developers do and create a completely different game. Too often developers will completely forget what made their first game a success and the sequel ends up flopping because fans were expecting "game 1 + new stuff". Just throwing that out there as friendly advice and can't wait to see the sequel! Good luck...
I can say from being here since the early days that Ian will make sure the sequel won't disappoint.
- Verbal feedback/suggestions from your coach/trainer between rounds (or a visual menu with tips based on your performance in that round)
- Interactive crowd that responds (gets louder) to your celebratory gestures after a win
- A congratulatory interaction with your opponent (and possibly his trainer(s) ) after the fight
- Sparring partners that mimic your next opponent's style
- Ability to sidestep or gain advantageous position on your opponent via footwork
- A ring walk/entrance for the bigger fights...make it a bigger spectacle
- Trainer-guided combo work on the dummy and heavy bag...perhaps add mitts training
- Stoppages
That's it for now. Absolutely LOVE this game!
