My jabs seemed to give slower figures than it should, however, I jumped in totally cold so for now I'll wait till I can see whether it was me. My hooks remain in the same range, reading between 11-16 m/s. I'll edit this once I play again.

What range were your straight punches in? What I feel would be perfect would be having the absolute best punches reported here not be higher than the 8 - 12m/s range for straights and somewhere in the 10 to 16m/s range for hooks with everyone feeling the numbers they're getting are consistent relative to how hard they're throwing their punches in real life (i.e., more effort = faster speed) regardless of what their numbers are.

No problem. I didnt even try any super power punches :D

I do not remember trying a straigt, it was just to quickly see how different it was, which it was for my jabs but hooks was in same range. As I said I will report back when I try after being warm, which does effect my ability, for my jab especially. I was cold which is why I quickly stopped testing punching speed and went to warm up in sparring, I never got around to trying again because I failed at winning over sparring partner and gassed after 30 min. It hurts to admit that though, I'm not that out of shape, but today I was :D

I was getting 8's for good jabs and crosses, and 12 for hooks with this new update. Used to get way more, but I'm pretty happy with this update still. I could still get high scores of 12's etc with hammer fists, but at least thats better than the <>30 I was getting before.

Thanks for checking out the beta. Just to note, here's a post with my suggestions for what difficulty setting you should be using based on your punch speed:

Eventually, I'll have the game itself suggest a difficulty for you, but for now you can use those guidelines.
