Steam deck cheats

Really struggling to work out how to edit the config.cfg file on my deck. Brand new to Linux so it's very Alien to me and I thought I updated the file but can't seem to make the debug menu work.

Anyone got any direction? I'd be super grateful! On my 3rd go at the storming of dollaran and I'm about to rage quite the game haha

Cant help with that cheat issue sorry :( but an good advice is build the temple from undead tree if you throw enough stuff in you get more snods ( had 30+) Titan units like Ogre (These Dosent even count on unit limit just make sure to already own everyone of these 3
