If I recall right.. overlord was a bit more 'linear push'.. with more reaching strategical unit gameplay.. it was also quite difficult later on. (the campaign sort of auto got harder as you moved forward.. until it got to a point where I couldn't beat it.

Of course, this was back in .. 2010? I may be a better gamer now ;)

Anyways, its a bit like apples to oranges. These aren't the same type of game at all.

Depends what are you looking for? Is it third person action or a RTS/ dungeon buiilding game? Both games are great but there quite different.

They are very different games. The only thing they have in common is the theme of being evil.
Looking for Dungeon Keeper combined with Warfraft 3? This.
Looking for Pikmin? Overlord.

Personally, I enjoy this game much more.

Guys - check dates... this was from 4 months ago. He either bought the game or spent his money elsewhere..
