Horde not reviving
Playing the campaign level where you finally kill the sorceress & you have the freezer with defribrimat

I've built a large freezer & 6 defribrimat's, I have a dead horde in each
I have skele archers, zombies & 2 Banshees

I dropped a banshee on the defribrimat & got no creatures to be revived message.


continued the map this morning & it's working.
Is it a bug?

only thing I've done between banchee drops is research the heal to 100% & restarting the gamne

Hm, and there was a dead unit inside the defi-bri-mat tube? Sounds like a bug to me.. :(

Did you throw the dead units by yourself or did a snot bring them there? Do you remember which unit it was?

I try to replicate it tomorrow. If you happen to find a good repro, please share it :)


PS: Zombies and Skeletons can't work in the crypta. They are probably too stupid to pull the lever. :D (its a difficult lever!)

I also played the mission and i also thought that it took a bit too long for them to revive. But i also forgot to hire a banshee for quiet a time.

You actually see them working there. They pull the lever and some tube thingy fills up (you'll see by yourself).

There was orcs & goblins in the vats
I tried throwing them in the vat but they'd end up on a stake & a snot would put them in a vat

When I dropped a banshee onto a vat I'd get the no body message & it'd walk off.


Restarting the game seems to of fixed it

I've noticed this happening when little snots drag creatures into the defi-bri-mat. Visually the creatures appears to be in the tube, but the defi-bri-mat doesn't activate. Picking up the creature and manually dropping it there fixes the issue (until it happens again). I didn't have it happen in my latest game, so it may be dependent on where the work unit is within the room or something like that.

You'll have to pick up the two dead orcs in the crypt and drop them there again, making sure they appear on hooks. Be quick about it, as the first defi-bri-mat will be ready about 15 seconds after loading the savegame. Otherwise they will teleport to the dungeon heart and little snots will drag them in from there. That's another bug worth investigating, but it will prevent this one from manifesting. The key seems to be that the creatures are dragged from hooks in the crypt into the defi-bri-mat.

Alternatively, you can try these steps to repro it yourself:
1. Build a crypt
2. Get some of your horde creatures killed
3. Move the dead creatures to storage spots in the crypt
4. Watch as the little snots drag them into defi-bri-mats

Just in case this is platform-speciffic somehow, I'm playing on Linux.
