I can't find the file.
If you're on windows hit the windows key and search %appdata% then navigate to ./Kalypso Media\Dungeons 3\config.cfg

Well I tried it but I can't bring up the debug menu. No idea what the problem is. But there is also no command line for the debug mode in the keyboard file so I'm not sure if that is the problem. Using a WASD keyboard.

Did you add "Debug.EnableCheats = True" to %appdata% "/Kalypso Media\Dungeons 3\config.cfg", it has to be at the very top or bottom of the file to work for some reason. Then in game hit "`/~" the key next to 1 and above TAB.

I did yes. However firstly my tilde key is somewhere else. But even if I press the key above TAB and next to 1 nothing happens. Any chance you could post a screenshot how it looks when you open the debug menu in your game and how your config.cfg file looks?

Oh and btw. how come the command is "Debug.EnableCheats = True" yet all the other commands in the config.cfg file are preceded by a # ? Well anyway... I think the problem might be that I'm on a WASD keyboard... not sure.

by WASD do you mean QWERTY? or a different notation? the notation would be the first 6 letters under the numbers row.

they not work with new dlc?
ShadowStar Mar 15, 2018 @ 3:23pm
I dont know why, by none of that shows up when I search. my appdata folder has none of my games in it. All the config files look nothing like that. Either I am missing something, or Windows 10 puts things in really odd places.
TEMPEST Mar 19, 2018 @ 8:21am
sometimes those AppData folders are hidden. Can confirm there are cheats built into this game. I wish they had more flexibility, but they're there!

MakeMyUnitsInvincible isn't working, that kinda sucks. But you can get a full research tree, all the gold you could want, or a big smashy orc that does 50k dmg.

Hit ` and up near top left there should be a cheats tab.

Thanks Devs for building these in! Without cheats like this I would probably never replay a game. This is probably my 6th game of this type. DK DK2 D D2 WftO,... I know how to play these games already so the cheats help to soothe the ache of my learning curve being higher than the current level's difficulty rating. I mined the entire underworld in the first 4 missions just for fun. Yeah, I found all those spiders and dragons and gems. Just a note to the cheat haters, there are many different reasons for modding a gaming experience. Chill the ♥♥♥♥ off your high horse, cowboy.

I agree. Cheating in SP is fun. Games are played for fun, if you enjoy cheating in SP, gohead.
(MP PvP is a different story)

I 'member going into the files of DK I and increased the amount of minions you can get. Or in Skyrim that Vendors have more gold avilable, because I'm a damn messy in this game.
Or in CoD 4 were I installed an aimbot and wallhacks, because I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no skill and I got cancer, aids, ebula and died a horrible death.

So as long it's for the fun in SP I'm fine, because who didn't ever cheatesd in GTA has missed a lot of fun.

What about on SteamOS (on the Steam Deck)? I can’t seem to find a similar config.cfg file to edit. Any thoughts?
