don't make the mistake and think you have to study the mission combos to be competent at the game. go with short execution-easy combos for the beginning, that's enough to play and have fun.

The basic 1 2 3 4 launch, 1 2 3 knockdown, tag and repeat is a pretty solid basic combo that works with pretty much everyone. Just throw a super somewhere in there and you are good. If you don't like long combos in general though, Marvel is not the right series for you. SFV might be more your style in that case.

Go watch a few youtube videos. I thought the same but really the combos in this game are a bit too simplistic. You can basically do a launcher, a bounce combo, a wall bounce combo and a hard knock down. Try to repeat any of those and you can't.. but once you understand each of those attacks, you'll be able to combo better than a beginner just hammering x.

Like any other competitive game it takes effort to improve. The nfact you do't have enough time to do it is not the fault of the game developers. You either find time, or you just give up and go do something else.

Took me an hour to get down a 6k+ one bar tag combo, took me barely a day to get down several 7-8k 2 bar tag combos
