What to do after solving the cog puzzle?

Hi there, GOG user here. I just want to ask what do I need to do after solving the cog puzzle? I get that I need to activate the other two cogs on the left side, but I don't know how.

Spoiler tags, just in case there are others who still want to figure it out on their own. :)

You have to disconnect the four cogs on the side, so that the door where the belt was rises up again. Then reverse the directions of all the cogs, making them turn the other way around. And then connect the cogs again. This will activate the two cogs on the left side.

Really? I thought the first cog can't go lower because the second cog next to it, this way unable to reach the cogs on the left. Guess I was wrong. Thanks!

EDIT: Oh, so a platform on the left rises up. Okay. :D

Where do you get a belt to power the crane at that part? It keeps saying I "need a belt to power the crane" but there isn't one anywhere on the level that I can find.
