Bot teammates not picking up item
I've noticed that when I direct a bot teammate to pick up an "objective item" (power cell, turbine, etc) they won't do it while we're in "combat mode" ie; enemies are spawning in adjacent areas before they're even in our zone. This isn't during a scanning/alarm process for a door to be unlocked either. Everybody's characters voices are yelling too instead of calm which is why I say "combat mode". Bug?

Nope. Bots are programmed to drop any objective items when in combat and proceed to combat. They will come back for the item once the coast is clear... sometimes.
They can carry things quietly, but can't do anything about them when its too hot. This makes certain "carry objective item(s) while hell descents on you" essentially unplayable if playing with bots alone.

There's betterbots (thanks hirunuko) that allows them to be better
And for solo to be marginibly better
But yeah, vanilla bots are dumb
So they don't turn into payday 2 bots.

You probably have a stuck enemy somewhere, and that's why the game still thinks you are in combat. It happens from time to time. Go look around the rooms where the last battle occurred; you'll hear him.
