Why nobody finishes the tutorial
Just curious. Just finished the tutorials and gave me an achievement in steam for doing so. An achievmente that only 17% of people has for finishing the tutorial ?!

I know the game is not groundbreaking in mechanics but considering stealth is important and weapons need to be charged form a weapon pack by presing E when you find one it s not entirely entuitive. More considering you have to type information in a terminal and have to know how to do that.

Anyway, just curious.

I can't say for sure that this is the reason, but I think that most people find or pick up this game because of a friend who already plays. So they get invited and their friend takes them through a level while explaining everything, instead of letting them go through the tutorial. The tutorial does an okay job teaching the very basic stuff, but someone who is already familiar with the game will always give you a better explanation.

The real reason is because the game had like 2-3 years of history and updates until they finally introduced steam achievements at the last possible moment in the very final update.
So basically achievements have only been around for about 15% of game's total like cycle, and by that point most players have already quit the game and can't be bothered reinstalling it and playing the tutorial.
Hell, i'm sure there are vets who refuse to beat it as means to keep the meme alive.
