GTFO
Worth it with friends on 2025?
I see the game mehcanics consisted on campaigns that changed over time.

Seems game is "finished" or, "abandoned" meaning no more updates and stuff.

So, the game right now is just a fixed campaign and fixed missions that won´t ever change?

Is there random or procedural levels or automatic "campaign changes" or something?

I woudl be a waste (i guess) to get the game and find there is just a fixed set of missions and thats all...

The game has a massive amount of content for the price. It is literally $20AU which is nothing. 85 levels ranging from about 30 minutes all the way up to over 3 hours depending on skill or if you do secondary stuff (and overloads etc). I play exclusively in VR and it is still after 3+ years, the pinnacle of VR gaming. Nothing compares and probably will in the near future. Even if you have no mates to play with, download the .dll better bots mod and you can have fun in single player.

No the game is all 8 campaigns that were released all in the game at once.
It's around 87 missions and will take you and your friends 200 to 500 hours to complete.

That's enough content if you ask me.

Altho you guys are statistically more likely to never finish the game.

I want GTFO too, and dont know where to find info aboput the game without spoilers (would like to know about unlockables, characters, weapons, some about difficulty levels, and more) the game looks challenging and fun. and some about the rundowns and if is possible to play and switch between the original levels and the Alternative versions or there when the rundowns did it (if i read well some info I looked before)

Don't bother getting it if you are not willing to play with rando's on the official discord or you have 3 friends willing to play.

Unlockables are cosmetic only. all weapons are there from the start, the only thing important is your skill and your teamwork.

The game gets hard but all A, B and most C tiers are pretty chill. Even then only 0.5% of the people finish the game. This is due to difficulty but also because you need to sink in those 200 to 500 hours to get there.

Characters have their own backstory and are fixed (you don't make your own character). story is very very hidden in logs tho so you will not know wtf is going on for 90% of the game. Youtube is your friend there. R7 and R8 have spoken dialogue tho with characters other than your team and make the ending of the story a bit more comprehensible. Story is pretty wild tho with: aliens, dimension travelling/merging, AI etc etc etc (again youtube it)

OG rundowns are the same as the Alt rundowns they have just very minor details that differ. the lore is different tho as you play in the Alt timeline and not the OG timeline. But level/gameplay wise consider Alts slightly nerfed (sometimes buffed) but they play the same (almost same lay out. same objectives etc etc) it's really not worth going back and replaying the OG levels.

If you want you can tho, you have to go through mods or older versions of the game tho. you can't do it from the base vanilla game

Ignore the guy saying you need a full team you only need 1 other person to play consistently and frankly most of the time 3man 1bot is better since there’s an enemy pinging tool that they are very good at using
oh nice, everybody knows People are way beter than the bots, specially friends, but the mods improving bots could help, I'm agree with both of you too, need friends to be more fun but using AI can be nice. In some point I will find some randoms trolling and the ones that dont know the game well, but playing like a team will make the missions progress. i just need 0.50$ to buy the game, in 9 hrs I will get a CS2 crate and sell it to decide (I want blazblue entropy effect too xd) but I have some doubts about the content and replayability i will researhc to decide :)
With friends, yes

With randoms or alone, no
