GTFO Lobby issues: Can't start game with friend

So when my friend (and it's only that one specific friend to which the problem occurs) tries to join, the whole lobby can't see his weapons and/or his character. Now that wouldn't be so bad but when we try to launch any games, it just won't launch, the bar will be reset to 0%. Anybody knows a fix?

That sounds like a network problem. Is the friend very far away? You could try letting someone else host, or letting your friend host and seeing if that changes anything.

You could also ask in the technical support channel on the official GTFO discord. There are people there that try to help with problems like these.

Does anyone (especially that specific friend) have an application running in the background (can check via Task Manager) called GamerFirst IV? If so, exit out of that or any network optimization programs.

No the person is literally my brother actually. Plus the game worked fine like a month ago, I don't know why It would just stop working on a random day. I will try asking in the Discord tho, let me know if you guys find anything.

Did you check if your brother's computer was running in the background the program that D0cR3d asked about? Apparently it's caused this kind of problem for other players.

Hello everyone ! I have exactly the same issue written above (words for words) but i have no GamerFirst IV install on my computer...
Is there any other software which could cause the same issue ?

A) Hey friend, next time please create a new post rather than necroing a very old post. B) Yeah there is other software that would do the same thing. I would recommend asking in the official discord's technical support channel for help. There are people there that can help you with this issue.
