Probably worth looking at crash files/logs. You can google the location of the Unity crash report files. It's like in ..AppData\LocalLow\Unity or something like that.
Also, sometimes CPU cooling issues can arise over time and can degrade game performance. Are your CPU temps fine? Might be worth running memtest and some sort of drive diagnostic.
As for the other comment, the same issue started happening also in Lethal Company (which also runs on Unity). I checked the temperature and it's at very acceptable level.
Unity crash logs folder is empty.
10 Chambers crash / log folders are also empty.
I did a fresh OS install today and it didn't solve the issue.
I appreciate all your help.
Is game installed on SSD/HDD? Do you have latest BIOS for motherboard/GPU?
ASUS_TUF_Gaming_F15_FX506HM
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz 2.69 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 11 Home (ENG)
Version 22H2
OS build 22621.3007
Graphics: RTX 3060
SSD 1TB, two partitions, game is installed on C:// along with OS. There's over 200GB free space on GTFO disk.
I made no changes to BIOS since I got the laptop.
I guess I could try updating it as nothing else comes to my mind.
Could you check state of the SSD? Try CrystalDiskInfo (for checking health) and CrystalDiskMark (to benchmark the drive).
Also - try to check integrity of your Windows 11 (right click on Start - Terminal (Admin) or Powershell (Admin) and type: sfc /scannow
the key is to crash the game with the vsync turned off
once i turned it on it stopped crashing
u did the opposite so skill issue
I did all you recommended.
My BIOS is actually 315.
CrystalDiskInfo checked - No issues
CrystalDiskMark - All green
Integrity - No issues
Legacy DRM Compatibility - Couldn't find it in Armoury Crate. I fiddled with different battery / efficiency settings but there is no difference.
If that's not responsible for Legacy DRM in Armoury Crate, could you point me in the right direction?
Peripherals - just a wireless Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse
Manbarondenna - I checked both, with VSync turned on and off. Result is the same.
Issue unfortunately reoccurs.
Legacy DRM - you should see that in main screen (where CPU usage, GPU usage, CPU stats, GPU stats, Memory and Storage etc. is located) in the right bottom (System Configuration).
