The amount of constant bug testing that would be required to keep an ever growing archive of past expeditions bug free, would cripple the development team and severely limit what we would dare to do in terms of changes/updates/experiments in future Rundowns.
The best way to look at GTFO is as a game that offers a constant stream of time limited events, or see it as a game with seasons that change more frequently than seasons change in most other games (and maps that change with the season). The Rundown concept will probably be hard to accept for completionists, but for everyone else we think it's a unique and exciting concept that we want to pursue.
I am secretly hoping people will find ways to load older builds and be able to play them :D i heard that payday 2 is capable of doing that via steam updates.
