Now for the long answer: some have done it. (I know of one dude who has done true solo on every level) but it is more considered as a challenge run kinda thing. Attempted by players with map and game knowledge and 1k hours playtime.
The game is balanced around 4 players, not bots, not less.
You will probably manage to do A1 and B1 just fine, meaby even manage C1 but on D1 you'll hit a wall. In fact D1, D2 and E1 you won't complete them.
So is it possible? technically yes.
Will you manage? No (like 95% of the community)
You can always join our Discord server to find people to play with.
You said the D- word !!! How dare you
I can't help it!
In that case the game is not for you. And that is fine, there are a lot of games playable solo out there.
There is also no way to synchronise the melee attacks with your bots, unless they have added more functionality in the updates since I played? So clearing the bigger rooms is really slow. If these rooms have a special type of enemy wandering around, I found the best way to clear the room is to set up a couple of turrets and just open fire because that will be the outcome eventually. This tactic becomes a death sentence in deeper levels.
If you are after a similar type of game that has good balance for squad and single player, Rainbow Six Extraction is worth a try.
If we want to play as Duo/Trio player group (we rarely have all four players available to play in our group), but do not like to play with bots, can we DISABLE the player/bot spot during game creation? So we can enter the round with three players only? Or does the game requires to have 4 players minimum?
I realise playing 2/3 instead of 4 is considered sub-optimal and harder, but that is fine and acknowledged, since we have been playing similar coop games in that configuration, so I believe I know what we are asking for.
You can disable the last slot. Good luck tho
