E1 - Invincible Tank?
Hey guys,

so for starters, i hate gamedesign that give you enemys you cant kill.

So, i dont want it to be true.

Does anyone know a bug or an exploit or an actual way to kill this invincible tank at E1?

The immortal is very poor, as are tanks, with hitting players behind cover. If you are client and have a slight piece of cover where it covers part of your body when standing or crouched, you can essentially stand at the wall and take aggro but not take damage. This can be done as host, but requires larger cover than with client.

For instance, if you are client and go to the blood door near the start in R7E1 and go to the platform upstairs to the left of the blood door from facing it directly and hug the guard rail that has a view of the door, the tanks will aggro at you, if not targeting another player, and will be unable to hit you, thereby making them stuck,and become an easy target for players behind them. The immortal can be killed, to my knowledge when I tested it on 'OG' R7 release, but would be ultimately not worth the effort because its logic is very poor that someone can just kite it if necessary.

Regular door cheese via breaking doors at the frame/tick of its closing wasn't that less known, people just defaulted to an easier method, foam method, that didn't require much precision in their movement. Fixes for this bug are available via mods such as Auri's[github.com] which makes it so sound travels the moment all but apex doors open or the other one on Thunderstore library.

There never was a 'not OG' R7. And yes it can be killed with cheats. without its impossible as it has a billion HP and there is not enough ammo in the level for that

By 'OG' I refer to when it was the only rundown available with the FOMO system of content creation, hence why I put it in quotation marks to imply that calling it OG is not entirely accurate or truthful and is not intended to be a serious fact.

Just saying
But you cant kill pablo not cuz it takes too long, but because any vanilla damage you deal to him gets rounded to 0 through his insane damage resistance.

He also does not respawn when killed

And well, it should be obvious to say that door bugging is exploiting lol
