How to deal with infection?

Just tried B2 and it was cancer with all the toxic gas how did you guys do it?
me and a friend is duo so would just put that in just in case

Just finished this in Duo too. The trick is to send 1 person into the fog to get infected and use fog repellers to make paths for the other members. I was the fog diver, and I would just ping any disinfectant packs and use them before a security door. Also be ready to use fog repellers on any security door near fog

damnn so you go first and scout a path for the rest and put fog repellers?

you need the fog turbine to safely explore the level. until you get it, you are supposed to stay out of the fog and use fog repellers, if you have to cross the fog or do a scan in it. alternatively you can send somebody fog diving to explore early or just ignore it completely and play with 15 health.

Pretty much yeah, it's a bit scary when there are enemies hidden in the fog, but otherwise infection alone can't kill you. So you can take your time to loot all the resources and plan a path for the team.

Also pretty sure there is no Fog Turbine on B2. You can use "List fog" and any terminal to see if there is one on the level at all.

You just need to know where to use fogrepeles, once you know what goes where and how you will be able to easily beat the level.

In the disinfection area, there is a white canister on a wagon that you can use to infinitely clean infection off you.

B2 gives you a ton of fog repellers, so dont be afraid to use 3-4 for the scans

There is no turbine in B2

If you think infection is problem, then I can tell you are probably new. So let me ease your worries. You can take up to 40% without any real consequences since if you are using medipacks effieciently, youll be around 60% after healing the team, and thats just assuming you get hurt alot.

If you want to avoid it, just grab fog repellers. B2 has tons of them, so always keep a pack on you, and swap them out with fresher ones when possible. As you learn the map and replay it, youll find youll use them a lot less. Don't be too afraid of the infection. Sometimes its worth running through a fog and taking like 8%. You'll learn as you play more.

If you know placements, you need very few fog repellers to cross most areas. The area is very wide if you let them spin up all the way, and every zone is vomiting fog repellers.
