I just stumbled upon this vid in my youtube recommended. Where all this ideas went to?¿ textures looked so much better and solid ,even the sound feels more impactful, and btw devs can say what they want form the old hud.... but it looked better.....

It's common knowledge a lot of developers over visualize their games for marketing purposes either that or they realized most computers would not be able to run this game as not everyone can afford the top of the line computers so the dummed down the graphics and simplified the UI for public release. My guess is the first one

And if I have a good pc i´m obligued to play with toned down graphics because people less good pc´s?¿ strange idea and even if that was the case, game runs super good even on a rx580 or a 1660 which are very cheap gpu´s... I just hope they give us the possibility to step up the graphics if we can.


dude the map looks so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing in that gameplay.....i´m criying lol and btw seems like in this early gameplays super exagerated difficulty was not the main focus, you can see how weapons kills super fast, which feels great, music is great....nowadays difficulty is so high that you don´t even pay attention to simon´s tracks which are amazing.

IDK man, I love what I see in this video, not so much what we have now ( which is better in some other areas ie weapon sights are far better now).

I hope them take back some of these ideas for the 1.0

PS: old scouts looked so COOL.

Ulf said on stream he had a ray tracer in the works, pretty excited to see if that can spice up the visuals, and tbh neither this old hud or the current hud looks that good, hoping they improve it before 1.0

It's pretty, but I doubt it would work on their min sys req. There are a lot of gamers with very old rigs who still buy games too. I admit that I would like if they could raise the ceiling for graphics, but I would not want to raise the floor if that means losing many players, if that makes sense to you. I think making the game more accessible to different quality computers is more important than making the game prettier to people with more money for better computers.

why not give us an option to play with quality like that? perhaps separate downloadable patch so low-end pc players don't have to waste space on what they can't use.

Yeah thats very cool... Don't get me wrong, the game is far from being BAD in the graphics area but... As I said before, the game has graphic settings, and you are just telling me the reason why every game have them.

People with a humble pc can set those settings to low or medium. But If i have a good pc, why i'm obligued to play with worse graphics? I feel like i'm being punished here just because I have a better rig... Why you guys don't give us that option?

I hope you guys reconsider this in the future, if you are losing players is not because the game doesn't run well.

Well if they redit it because they feared it wont work on low end system......
sorry that doesnt make any sense. their graphics are already demanding, so they knew it wont run on any system well. and most games that are in alpha should be at high graphics cause by the time they release the hardware already evolved and their graphics are already obsolete and just mediocre. maybe they saw how much work and effort it needs to generate all those levels with such detail and high graphics and thats why they changed it.
That makes way more sense than anything.

Wonder when the developers of that game are going to release it cause it looked amazing,would love to get my hands on it.Hope they don’t just release gameplay and then sometime later change almost everything from what was originally shown and then release the product..

I mean the minimum requirements are far lower and ancient that most triple A games ( which are usually designed for huge audiences) a gtx 660 dude...that well could be a fossil, how old is that?¿ 10 years ?¿ 2012....xbox 360 was still around.....

I bet 90% of players playing the game has a better gpu than a 970. That gpu is 7 years old....

I first laid my eye on that game because of that graphic preview trailer and I wasnt even sure what is going to be. They keep it all very secret which is weird and doesnt make sense to me.

Well they aim for a nvidia 660. Which is 9 years old. And it wasn't a powerful card back in the day either. I get that they don't wanna lose people. But they are realy stressing it out here.

The game is atmospheric. But it is also ugly as hell. I am sorry but it is how it is.
