Agreed brother. I thoroughly enjoy the creativity of others from the community and would like to see what they would do and add to the game as optional extra goodies.

If gtfo devs did the same thing valve did for portal 2 they could really have something. They could continue making the lore maps with new mechanics and assets but also have community maps for replayability purposes. If they just make a simple make creator program like what portal 2 has then they could put all the assets from current, previous, and future rundowns into it and allow players to create unique maps and would even be able to choose what weapons are allowed and what objectives you'd have to do. I do feel if they decide to do this they should wait to full release depending on how many rundowns we have just so the maps are a bit variant from one another or could have it to were you can only create a map with only one rundowns assets (I.E. If you chose rundown 2 you couldn't use assets or mechanics from any of the other rundowns) THIS would also allow for people to recreate the previous rundown maps that are no longer accessible and allow newer/veteran players to go back and visit/revisit the previous rundowns after they are long gone.

Thats true, it would be interesting to see what kind of situations and set ups the community would be able to implement them selves but I'd also be as equally interested in equipment and consumables as well.

I don't think they would be able to do guns/equipment very well atleast not for official maps because all someone would have to do is add a auto aiming infinite ammo oneshot lazor gun and anybody can solo the maps which is the opposite of what the devs wanted to achieve with this game so I feel the best way would be to limit it to only maps and objectives and not have any steam workshop work for the official missions.

I see the point to that but again that would be the person who decided to download the file, because they are optional files, goodies, if they want to ruin the challenge that's their choice. So I'd rather there be no limit at all, because the true limit is the fact that it comes down to someones personal choices of having said mods.
