thats my point lol, game is a little too bright. But i just changed the settings on the monitor as a fix, but it would be nice to have an ingame functionality rather than having to adjust monitor settings all the time.

I couldn't see anything and lost more than half my life from tripping off a ledge..I do this often also in real life.

You cant. Its disabled on purpose so you cannot cheat to see well when its purposely made to be the oposite.
Git gud. Use those big flashlights or defoggers if you wana see.
You have a personal light range of 3m thats blue and lets you see even with lights off.
LoL, or if you REALLY want, set a custom setting on your GPU for this game and have the GPU override application settings.
Might cause some instability tho ;)
Otherwise, you could also set the setting on your monitor or tv itself.
(For all you youngsters, your TV/Monitor ACTUALLY has brightness settings built into it.)

Not sure if you're serious and didn't read, but the thread is about turning the brightness down, not up. OP already mentioned using the monitor's brightness settings, but it would be nice if the devs added it to the options menu.

People wanting to cheat can already do so by using their monitor setting. I think it's only fair that players can change their settings without having to change their whole monitor settings to play a single game.

Good thing people don't even read further than the title.
