Git gud. Use those big flashlights or defoggers if you wana see.
You have a personal light range of 3m thats blue and lets you see even with lights off.
LoL, or if you REALLY want, set a custom setting on your GPU for this game and have the GPU override application settings.
Might cause some instability tho ;)
Otherwise, you could also set the setting on your monitor or tv itself.
(For all you youngsters, your TV/Monitor ACTUALLY has brightness settings built into it.)
Not sure if you're serious and didn't read, but the thread is about turning the brightness down, not up. OP already mentioned using the monitor's brightness settings, but it would be nice if the devs added it to the options menu.
People wanting to cheat can already do so by using their monitor setting. I think it's only fair that players can change their settings without having to change their whole monitor settings to play a single game.
Also if you have an OLED monitor your are pretty much screwed.
