How's the optimization so far?
Just wondering.

Very well optimized. Never had any framerate issue at high settings.

For reference

CPU: FX-8350 (CPU from 2012)
GPU: Radeon RX570 4GB
RAM: 12gb

It's optimized really well, only had a few moments here and there where it stutters a couple frames than returns to normal right away. Smooth a good 95% of the time, it's early access but for what it is, it's well polished.

Just make sure you're using your graphics card instead of your intel, or else it gets constant frame drops.

It still has to improve but I'd say it's alright. I run a 1050 Ti and I get 60 FPS 90% the time, but it goes below in combat, but it depends on the expedition in question. However I run the game on the worst possible graphic settings and not even playing in 1080p resolution, but it's just the 1050 Ti showing it's age.

I'm using a potato to run this game,
It run superb optimized. The Networkin is very good too.

I can agree with the above posters, the game runs pretty fluidly during games. I think the only time where FPS were low is during the drop-in and that was round 25-30 FPS. The rest of the game I have never noticed going below 80. My specs are pretty low tier so that is a good sign:

CPU: i3 6100 Skylake
RAM: 8 GB DDR4 at 1066 Mhz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 Founders
Motherboard: Gigabyte G.1 Sniper

It runs pretty well so far. It hovers around 65fps for me with fog being set to medium. Never noticed any fps drops during bigger fights.

GPU: GTX 970
CPU: FX-8320 stock
RAM: 16GB

I'd say the optimization is pretty okay for most of the game. Some specific maps/areas combined with big fights can lead to sharp FPS dips down to the 30's, but it spikes back up to 60 real quick because you either win the fight quickly or you're dead anyways lol. These spikes happen regardless of resolution (1080p60 or 900p60 in my case), so I decided to just give my GPU some headroom with 900p.

Settings: 900p @ High, capped in-game at 60 with Fast Sync.
CPU: i7-7700HQ
GPU: 1060 6GB
RAM: 16GB

Game runs well enough.

1700x and a GTX 1070 and I get 70-80 FPS most of the time at 1440p. It does struggle at times and drop below 60 though.

The main problem is the netcode. It's P2P and the tick rate seems absurdly low when the action picks up to the point that sometimes it looks like you are playing at 15fps as the monsters jitter and stutter across the ground. It's especially noticable when they are moving sideways and when they do attacks (you won't even see the attack).

Pretty terrible actually. 9900k and a 1080ti and I rarely get over 100fps @ 1440p.

Just adding a drop in the pond of what everyone else has already said :

No issues here. Smooth 60fps with very rare dips, maxed out @1080p

CPU : i5-6500
GPU : 1060 6GB
RAM : 16GB DDR4

Maxed at 1080p
I7-4790K
DDR3-16GB
RTX 2070

Fps changes between 120-185 depending on situation

For some reason I was getting 20-25 fps. Turning off vsync in game, and then rurning it on in nvidia control panel and locking the fps to 60 made it run like butter.

i7 6700 (Not K)
DDR4 16GB
RX480 8GB

Solid fps at 1080p, v-sync off as have freesync monitor which helps a lot.

Each rundown it has improved, the monsters had a lot of jitter early on for me but now very playable. Given the improvements I can expect it to improve each rundown
