GTFO
Very low frame rate running on 2080
Is anyone else experiencing extremely low performance ~10 FPS? Tried setting everything to low, best I got was ~25 FPS. What gives?

I have a laptop with 2080, runs all good. Check graphic card drivers and also maybe check v-sync if the game has, try to disable.

Running 2080 and runs great.

I would start checking your drivers and your temps; since other people with a 2080 are not having the same issue.

it was subpar.. 60ish? on a 1080 SC but I play @ 3440x1440. not the same comparison. though from what i read, they are developing it with UW in mind. Which is nice to see.

very strange problem you have here.
i would try...

- verify game fiels
- clear steam download cache
- add game to nvidia contol panel 3D settings
- reinstall game
- you said already tested settings, also fullscreen not windowedfull

This is the only game you have so bad performance?? its strange.

Have you maybe played with the max something rendered frames slider?

But i havent tested if this can even have a negative impact apart from the positive.

would also add, maybe the frame limitation slider on the bottom of the menu causes this for you.
Maybe its set to a value causing your frames to go wild.
Another option would ofcourse be hardware failure (or user error due to bad hardware choice, like a 2080 coupled with a FX3600 for example, or DDR1 RAM).

Thanks for the feedback. It was actually a dumb issue. I had the Display Port cable plugged into the wrong input on the computer. Had to be plugged into the DP attached to the GPU.

In your graphics settings there is a setting for your CPU to handle frames, put it on 0 or 1 if you're having major input lag as it's preloading frames before they actually display.

But be careful with that slider, setting it to 0 instead of 2-4 kinda halfed my FPS.
