GTFO
Is crossplay planned?
Assuming it's successful enough to come to other platforms that is.

My guess would be no. It's going to be hard to balance a console version with the PC version, too.
It requires a huge amount of work for very little payoff.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. ;-) We can start discussing console features once it's certain that the game will come to one or more consoles.

Never been a fan of pc/console crossplay to begin with.
Those two are not equal and console would just slow down the development of the game. And nothing is more annoying than being stuck with a partner that can't use a m&k in this type of game.

I wish 10cc the best and hope GTFO get big enought to satisfy console gamer. But if they reach that point the xplay stay between console.

I can understand being against it for a pvp game, but this is a pve game. Me and my friends have been craving crossplay games such as Deep Rock Galactic, which gets a content updates roughly every month. My Friends also perform fine with a controller, sure I usually get more kills but they're still very helpful.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I really don't like this mentality of gatekeeping console and pc because "console is inferior" and "pc has an advantage".

Agreed. For co-op, why the heck not? If the developers can. But it shouldn't be priority over everything else that's needed to sustain the life of the game.

I do worry about console communities. I've owned a few consoles in the past and I've met some cool people. For the most part, it's pretty toxic, filled with immature gamers.

I'm a little biased when it comes to the PC community. XD

It is not about inferior console or better PC, you didnt understand me. I specifically says that console user don't have access to mouse accuracy. And looking at the gameplay of G.T.F.O., the action is way above the average FPS like Payday 2 which rely extremely on Aim Assist too.

Also with crossplay, you have to push patch across all system at the same time, which can be a problem when it come with waiting for Sony/MS approval. On PC you can push update at any time.

I understand this is a PvE game, but since I intend to play this both with my friends and the community, I don't want to carry people that cant hold their own when ♥♥♥♥ goes real. And yes, there terrible player on PC and had to fail/reform my party on Payday 2 a few times. But Xplay would just increase the filter I had to do. Not that I would never encounter good controller player, but its one less thing to worry.
