Is there any way to make this game work with Oculus Quest 2 Controllers?
I bought this to practice before I get on getting my drivers license. I have an Oculus Quest 2 connected to my PC via link cable. I can't seem to get the controls to do anything in the game. My question, aside from the topic question, do the devs have plans to implement VR controllers?

Hello,

Please note that the game officially supports only Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets. Vive Pro and Rift S should work.

Regarding the Index, Quest, Cosmos or any WMR-compatible devices - for now we do not have these headsets by our hands, and do not have plans to supported them in near future. Sorry.

Also please take into account these advices if you use VR with City Car Driving:

- Update your VR headset software & drivers.
- Update your video card driver to the latest version.
- Make sure you connect your VR headset before(!) starting the game.
- Do not launch/use SteamVR. If SteamVR is already running – close it before launching the game. Then just run the game in a usual way and select the VR output in the in-game settings menu.
- VR activates only after the driving session start (it does not work in the main menu).
- If you feel you still need to make lower motion sickness effects you can try disabling some of the camera inertion effects as described here - https://steamcommunity.com/app/493490/discussions/0/3277925755433585773/

This is the usual "Copy paste" answer i've seen on other posts and the short answer for what currently is in the game is no motion controllers for any of the headsets but as this game is a simulator motion controllers is not the best way to play this as you really need a wheel/pedals combo to really have any good experience with it

City Car Driving works fine from a Quest 2. I personally used Link (wired), Air Link, and Virtual Desktop even (albeit with VD, it seemed less smooth). With that said though, motion controls don't work, and in order to get the game to load at all with VR, you need to enable the VR output in options (can do monitor + VR), and when starting the game, you have to use desktop/non-VR view in order to select menu options to actually get in-game. The VR mode kicks in once you're actually in the car in a map.

In my case, I start Oculus Link, go to Oculus's desktop view, start CCD from Steam, and it puts me in VR view (which is just a black screen). I press the Oculus button, go back to desktop view, and then use a motion controller to select a few buttons to start free roam. Once the map loads and I'm in the car, I press the Oculus button again to return to VR mode, and go from there.

I know this is an old post but I've got it working with quest 2 and I have a racing wheel. What I don't understand is how I'm supposed to strap on a seat belt, put the car in reverse, etc when the controllers give me no hands.
