How to turn off the camera's inertion and other camera's effects

Hello,

Here're some hidden parameters of the camera, which you're able to edit. Maybe this can be useful, especially for VR users.

Find the file "game.ini" in <...Documents\Forward Development\City Car Driving...\config> folder.

Open this file and locate this section:

[camera]

In this section you can edit these parameters:

HeadInertiaEnable0=true

(this is the camera's inertia)

HeadShiftEnable0=true

(this is the camera's shifting while braking and accelerating)

HeadNoiseEnable0=true

(this is the camera's vibration on a high speed)

To turn off any of these parameters just change the value (after =) from true to false.

P.S.: Make sure that you edit parameters with number 0 in the end of their names (parameters with other numbers for another purpose and you should not edit them).

P.P.S.: Also it's better to turn off the Steam cloud profile synchronization before editing the parameters manually – open your Steam client, click on City Car Driving with right mouse button and choose “Properties” from the context menu. Then open the tab “Updates” and there turn off the option “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for City Car Driving”.

Добрый день. Вращение камеры мышью не работает? Обратите внимание, что если устанавливаете само управление машиной тоже мышь - обзор мышью работать не будет. Придётся выбирать что важнее.

Even after all these changes v.r is still making me dizzy in this game. I read using a wheel is the cause but i would like to play with a wheel.

Is there a setting in game.ini to invert the Y axis of the camera? I cannot find a control to do this in the in-game settings.

I am using a gamepad (xbox360 type) and it is difficult to look around, because I pull back on the thumbstick, as I do in all other games, and it looks down instead of up.

I use the Thrustmaster Ferrari Racing wheel - red legend. i have not played the game since that post so i dont remember if i tried it without the wheel.

Even with this guide, VR view feels horrible and gives so much motion sickness. Sadly unplayable. If you need a game to compare, try Assetto Corsa.

I would like to know how to do this too when playing without VR it's very difficult without invert look.

is there a full description of all the parameters in the game.ini document? I want to play with them to find a way to minimize motion sickness but would love to have a bit more guidance on what changes would be good to make.
