Running Planet Coaster on Mac Book Pro
I've recently bought a mac book pro and am running planet coaster on the lowest settings for graphics. within a minute or so of running the game the mac gets super hot and the fan is fairly noisy, Ive spoken to Apple who advise none of this should damage my mac in the long run but that i should reach out to the Planet coaster community just to see if anyone else had any help, advice or tips on running this game on a mac. TIA :)

What graphics card are you using? Planet Coaster is very graphics intensive even at low settings.

Just taking a look at Google results for that - I suspect that's the problem. It can be used for gaming but it is a lower spec GFX set up.

Not at all sure with a Mac if I am honest. On a PC the simple advice would be to upgrade the video card if at all possible. Not cheap these days though. Not sure how it works with Mac. The video set up might very well be integrated onto the motherboard. If it is a separate card you could perhaps enquire about upgrades. I'm just not sure.

On mac. Won't start
So, I'm on mac. I'm trying to launch Planet Coaster from steam (it would be really great if you could put Planet Zoo on mac too) and it won't start up. Basically, I try to open it, it says its open, my mac Force Quit menu says it's open, but it's nowhere on the screen, and it doesn't even have the tiny dot under it when it's open. It's driving me INSANE and I really need help. P.S Yes i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
