Other way is to make a throw-away save, close your park (and everything in it, especially Restrooms) and run it until all the guest who can have left. Then the only guests in the Park Management Guests tab are the ones who're stuck. Use the go-to (or whatever the location thing is called) to find them, then close that game file, go back to your main, go to that spot and fix the problem / rescue the guests.
An exit (or any path) can look connected when it's not -- if the problem seems to be at a ride exit, it's best to delete the path for several sections and rebuild out from the exit, that'll insure it's really connected.
Then you've waited to see that for each and every ride exit -- not everyone does since it's a bit of a slog, glad to hear it. In the three days since my previous post have you had a chance to try what I suggested?
I've had a little time in-game since then, my recollection of the guest tab was off (RCT3 again?) -- in PC1 it's Park Management (button near the lower left corner of the screen) Guests tab > Guest Thoughts button > if the percentage of trapped guests is high enough there will be a red bar with a frowny-face saying something like “I'm stuck!” and probably a location pointer, click that to go to at least some of the stuck guests. Otherwise closing the park in a throw-away save (detailed above) is the only method I know of to force this, sorry.
What you have to do search all over for people jumping up and down and waving at you to get your attention. Once you find that, it's usually easy enough to diagnose what's wrong, or at least pick them up and drop them in front of the Main Entrance.
The hard part, especially for a large park, is searching all over for them.
And I do mean all over.
One thing you didn't mention was whether it was a scenario. There's a tricky issue with the "Golem Rampage" one in that it creates 3 or 4 stations for the monorail ("Light Rail") at the start, but doesn't connect the paths. The track is connected, but not the path. Then it does drop some people at those stations with no connecting path to the Main Entrance, so they'll be jumping up and down until you come rescue them.
No, they won't get on board the ride to the Main Entrance, that requires more brainpower than what the game usually gives them.
