I would like to see dlc you don't own scrapped from the filters. I get why Frontier did this but it is a silly move to allow people to use DLC they don't own only to be barred from saving your park until you buy the relevant DLC pack.
Licenced DLC cost more than unlicensed DLC in this game and that can be off putting for some players. Would be nice to see some of that stuff you mentioned but I doubt they can afford to pay Hasbro for the licence for Transformers. Likewise with other licenced materials.
1. More Management. PC1 was extremely limited when It comes to park management. If we got all of PZ management features added to PC2 that would be an excellent start. I would like to see a yearly season added along with a ride construction phase. E.G. Allow the player to create buzz with a new ride thus attracting a large following and a surge in park visitors. Would also like to see Traffic management such as public transit and parking management. Would also like to see competitors and stock market trading, See bullfrogs 1994 Theme Park for examples.
2. Flat Rides. I want to see a lot more flat rides in PC2 as there is a severe lack of flat rides in PC1. I also want PC2 to include dark rides. As much as I like coasters in the game I find it gets boring being forced to build endless new coasters to keep guests happy and returning to the park.
3. Pre fabricated shops and rides. I am not much of a creator when it comes to decorating so I would like to see all rides and shops in the game come with a default theme. That would enable me to build a park without worrying about decorating buildings and rides.
4. More Themes and Pieces. Even though stated above that I do not do well when it comes to decorating rides and shops I do want to see this return in PC2 with a significant increase in puzzle paces.
5. Water Park. I want to be able to build a water park area. Roller Coaster Tycoon Soaked expansion is a good example.
6. Would like to be able to add small scale aquarium or a sea world type exhibits to the park to offer some variety to the guests.( I don't expect this but i would be a cool addition.)
7. Path finding. Please, Please fix path finding and path laying.
8. Weather and weather related events. Bad weather would affect park attendance for example. Build parks in different climates thus guests require diffrent rides and attractions. E.G hot dry desert areas would favour water rides whereas cold wet areas would prefer indoor rides.
I Agree with all of this except for weather, I feel like itll get annoying when your building. If there would be a option to turn off weather similar to minecraft, sure, put it in.
Don't count on this ... you're asking them to give up potential income.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. You already can add "Door Scenery" that can be triggered to open and close by the train car. Some of them can be made any color you like. I've done this with the "elevator doors" many times.
The length of the queue line is entirely under your control. You basically want it to be long enough to refill the ride after the previous trip completes and empties out the passengers. What I call a "Ride Load". Your queue line should not be much longer than 1.5 Ride Loads.
Sorry, I just don't see the point. It's bad enough you can crash unfinished coaster cars into people and nobody gets hurt. In the Real World, that would cause injuries, death, and lawsuits.
Not necessarily. Frontier could do a quick detail pass to update the existing assets and include them in PC2 from the start, then introduce even more new rides as DLC. Honestly with as much content as PC1 has, they've barely scratched the surface of what's actually out there. Especially with flat rides but there's even a number of coaster models that aren't represented in PC1.
Not actual gore, it makes the game more fun for people who arent really into theme parks and want to cause chaos, hell, Roblox's Theme park tycoon allows it, and its quite fun.
1. I would really like to be able to create separate Priority Pass queues from the main park pathways.
2. Proper Footpath direction signs, Park Maps, Waterproof Jackets (for water rides) and ride photos and photo booth.
3. Ability to create own park mascot, Gift shop merchandise and park logo.
4. Additional Park Management options such as:-
- Staff negotiations. (Negotiate pay and benefits on a park level or staff will walk out/Go on strike)
- Utility and Supplier management (supply and negotiations for Food, Drink, Goods, Power, Water etc)
- Government incentives (Challenges/Rewards)
Thoughts?
I think going on strike is unnesacary, sure, adds realism to the game, but protesting in planet zoo is hella annoying, and I cant imagine how this would be
For coasters, I'd like to see both Vekoma flying coasters (the old Flying Dutchman model and the new model) - and for anyone questioning what the point of these is vs the B&M inspired version, they actually have different track setups in their stations. The Flying Dutchman loads in a "sit down" style and has the seats tilt downward, and the new Vekoma Flyer actually loads sideways. Plus the new Vekoma Flyer has launch capabilities.
Another coaster model I'd like to see is the Vekoma Tilt Coaster. Only one has been built with the old Arrow-style track, but since then Vekoma has adapted the design to their new track design.
The S&S Axis would be another awesome coaster model to have in the game. We already know that style of ride is possible - the swinging mine train functions exactly like it but with heavily dampened pivots.
Above all, though, more than any coaster model or ride/attraction type, I'd like to see switch tracks and multiple stations for coasters and tracked rides, and the ability to have stations that function without an entrance or an exit much like in the RCT series. Many high-capacity rides, like Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and Expedition Everest at Disney and Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point have either separate loading and unloading stations or double-tracked stations, and it's honestly a bit disappointing that we never got this kind of functionality in PC1.
EDIT: One other thing - allow multiple trains to occupy a station in block sectioned mode if there's room for them, like on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (which has an extra-long station to facilitate this along with moving loading/unloading) and Maverick (which effectively runs two trains as one for the purposes of dispatching).
The game has this already, and I have yet to have a game where anybody wanted to pay for that.
That would be a nice carryover from RCT. You could put up "DO NOT ENTER" signs over the path, and the people would not go in that way. But if they were on the other side, they could come out.
RCT also had shops selling umbrellas and ride photos.
OK. Maybe you could import a JPEG or something.
I think this is adding too much complexity to an already highly complex game.
A properties window for peaceable objects. Open the window to see and EDIT all of its aspects on one page. Color, texture, position etc.
One option for wall pieces would be light occlusion, set just how much light will pass through it. This would make building dark rides easier.
A larger menu for full building groups showing all the colors and textures in use in the group. Do you want to change the color of all the walls? Open the properties, chose the relevant color group and make the change. No need to click on every single piece.
Position is the big one for me. So often I try to get two pieces lined up at a special height or angle... Okay drag the mouse just a bit and, Dang it! too much! Okay bring it back gently and, DANG IT! Yeah, no more of that nonsense. Open the properties, set the angles, height, position and done
Easier ways to build Dark Rides, or have pre-made ones.
Enable auto-inspect options for rides once they fall below a certain maintenance level. Not just time-based.
Also disable victory lap for go-karts.
