Funny vid and also shows you some of the new stuff :)
Are their bugs? Sure. But plenty of fun can still be had just building and theming stuff that just was not possible in the first game. When people say they ate going back to the first game it puzzles me as I find it inferior in so many ways and something that has not been actively developed for at least 6 years at this point. There’s just not anything new there. Planet Coaster 2, even with its bugs, is a vastly superior game.
There's still some issues with the community over the recent DLC (as there should be), but outside of that it's a great game.
It's unfinished, broken and Frontier are treating the fans really badly.
Hold off for 6-12 months, I say.
The first part here was a project of the heart. I even bought all the somewhat overpriced DLC.
The second part, on the other hand, was created without competition and maximum profit, including the console edition. The advantages are roughly speaking the keywords "pools" and "brushes for scenery". Everything else is the same or better in the first part.
I recommend reading the Steam reviews of both parts and/or going to the forums.
Edit: Although it's obvious that people are unhappy there has been a pre-order bonus (rides only for pre-orderers - so artificial content denial for people who are critical) as well as 2 DLCs already.
