In my park, the game is playing the ambient music instead of the normal music. How to fix it?

I was playing in the City theme and the game doesn't play the normal soundtrack, it plays a different soundtrack.

Okay, seems the game's ambient music plays random tracks from the entire game with a preference for the lighter tunes... I suspect it's not totally random but anything goes?
In some scenarios with park speakers all over the ambient seems to turn off in favor of the park speakers.
Crazy right?

More study has reviled That ambient music gives way to all other sounds. For instance zoom way out and you get ambient. Zoom way in and you get just the sounds of guests and and rides.

Ok, but how to put the normal music?

In settings there is a check box to turn ambient music on or off as well as sliders to set the various sound levels. (It's the little gear in the upper right of your game screen.)

When you first open planet coaster, in the top left corner of the screen you will see three circles. The center one (should have an icon of a gear) you should click which will bring up all the game settings. There are multiple tabs there to switch between different sets of settings. If I remember correctly the first tab has all the sound settings. Some scenarios can override some of these settings which is done for scenario effects. If you want more on that one can search youtube for planet coaster settings and find many helpful videos.

Now I don't heard any music. I only want to disable the ambient soundtrack.

Play with those controls to see if it is what you're wanting.
