2. If you haven't done any TMK have you steam verfied files yet to be sure.
also yeah planet zoo is a more upgraded game engine so yeah if you can run that on high you clearly can do this on high too after all its a older.
Yes i already understood that maybe you don't understand TMK is Thememaker's Toolkit you know steam workshop items but, the 3D render objects made by others people. Some have scripts to make them move thats what am on about. We call them TMK's for short in the community.
Good idea but, if this problem is what i think it is then this will not work, cause then steam will re download all the workshop items again that OP subscribed to that probably broke it in the first place. So overall breaking it again.
I surpose OP could try but that's the whole point of the steam verfiles check if it is the game it self the verfiles check should go about fixing it what 80% of the time steam verfiles works as intended some rare times it doesn't replace the files that need repairing but thats like i said is rare since they improved the verfile check like last year.
uninstalled, then checked my c drice and nothings there, re downloaded and still wont boot.
Aw that's unfortunate. I know some have had weird issues when upgrading to Windows 11 and ended up having to do a fresh install of the OS for everything to work properly. Just an idea, and I know that may be a pain.. Please let us know if you discover a solution.
Dang wasn't what i thought after all well at least some more info. I wonder cause well this is a old game compared to that OS i think the only thing i can think of to do now is turn on compatibility mode if win 11 still has that idk still on win 10 as don't have a motherboard or anything that will let me run 11.
If compatibility mode and maybe admin doesn't work then am dryed up with what i could help you with sounds like a really nasty problem. If only the frontier could add a update to support the win 11 for this game what will sadly unlikely to ever happen.
Anyways GL if you can never ever get it working and can not find a fix then it might be one of those type of games were it will only work on some OS's. (Bully from rockstar has big problems with running on windows 10 so most people play on older OS just to play that game or mod the heck out of it and are forced to bad fps due to the mods they had to do to get it working)
Somebody else mentioned disabling the Steam overlay which has worked for people in the past but also, logging out of Steam and back in again has also been known to fix things.
GL
And still has the saved game!
