Mouse Controls on PC1

I have searched the community, and could only find posts from at least 4 years ago. The mouse controls on the original Planet Coaster are just horrendous. I barely move my mouse, and the screen goes flying. It seems like everything is in reverse. In roller coaster Platinum you simply move the mouse and go in the direction you want. On Planet Coaster I can't figure it out at all. It's extremely confusing and frustrating!!! I can't find any help in the tutorial.
Any suggestions? And have they improved the controls in Planet Coaster 2?

Like many games the mouse controls can be adjusted in the settings menus. Look at the camera options for sensitivity management and the controls settings for choosing what each button does. The main thing for me is to use the Freelook camera mode. there is a toggle for it, I have it set to the "T" key. The usual camera mode will rotate the game board when you click and drag the mouse, but Freelook rotates the camera. In freelook you can use WASD and the mouse to drive it like you would in a First Person Shooter game.

I mostly only use the normal WASD, Q/E camera (and T only in tunnel sections but the T camera moves too slowly because my normal sensitivity settings are pretty low). I edited my controls around 2020 and it took little bit time to adjust. There are plenty of options to make your own custom settings or use the different ones the game offers you. It will take you about 15 mins to find what suits you the best. Just explore the settings in sandbox mode.
