Ghostbuster DLC

What happened to the Ghostbusters DLC? I had it on my wish list along with BTTF and the Munsters and was going to order it and its not on the list of DLCs.

look through the news for this game, they removed it from the store as they can no longer sell it. they gave warning though

I remember with Pinball Arcade they pay for 5 - 10 years licence contract to the licence owners after that they have to pay again or loose the rights to sell or distribute it.

I reinstalled Planet Coaster and was like oh nooo. People who already bought the DLC will be ok.

I see, shame that something important like that wasnt in the news at the top of my library, never saw that before.

Well I guess my only choices are to over pay for keys that are still floating out there or hope Planet Coaster 2 does a Ghostbuster DLC down the line.

They'll probably eventually do "Ghost-Catchers" or some such and change the looks of all the characters so they can avoid paying royalties and license fees.

Ah well then that will suck if they do that. The IP can make quite a bit of money if done right

Yep, I was able to get a steam key off the web, paid a few dollars more than what it was selling for but knowing how companies are not wanting to pay for the GB IP I figure I need to grab it.

They gave a 3 day notice before it was taken off the platform. I happened to spot it by accident or I would of missed it. That reminds me I need to put the musters on my wishlist before that licences is pulled.

Yep I never saw the notice. It never got put to the top of my library page for the news. If they had put it on sale it would have popped up in my email as I get notified through email when wish list items goes on sale. Never got an email for this one but at the end of the day I have it now and if anyone still wants it nows the time to grab it from third party key sites before they jack the price up even more.

I would never trust a third party seller from what I seen on the web about sites like g2a and such. I would rather throw the money out the window, less risk that way.

Use paypal, if there is any problem and the site selling third party keys wont respond or fix the problem you go to paypal and get your money back. Only site I use how ever for CD keys is Humble Bundle but they only sell keys for active games not delisted games/dlcs

I just signed up for Humble a few months ago. They are good and the best and cheapest way and legal way to get steam keys I have ever found. Right now it's my favorite site on the web along with Steam.

Yep I dont sub I only buy the month when it has multiple games that are on my wish list. Otherwise I just skip the month, but until steam goes back to the old days of how they did sales i wont be buying on steam unless its under $10 for the game
