Planet Coaster Console Port
This is a VERY good port. Playing it on my Xbox is surprisingly less clunky than I had anticipated. What a great job by the Frontier team bringing this great game to more people. I really appreciate being able to achievement run and experience it all over again in a different way. Usually, you would expect a company to really dumb down a console port but they've somehow managed to include all the magic in the game for a new audience. Hell yeah!

Funny thing is, the console port is dumbed down quite a bit, but it's not perceptible to most people because the features that did get removed are all to do with user-made assets.

I play on console mostly. I agree, they did a good job porting it.
The console edition feels more complete: The career mode has a tutorial, voiced NPCs dialogues, and a basic story. The console UI is much easier to navigate too IMO. I think they also added more pre-made scenery. Using the controller feels natural too.

On the Xbox One, it runs smooth for smaller parks. However it struggles with medium/larger parks. After about 2000+ guests, there is a lot of stuttering. And it gets worse if you have a lot of coasters/rides. A PC/Gaming PC is definitely more suited for larger and complete parks.

Back when I played on PC, you can also create your character (avatar) and connect with others. I'm not sure if you can do that anymore, but you couldn't do that at all on consoles.
I have 3 coasters, an American Arrow, a Copperhead, and the one from the Ghostbusters pack. I have about 8-10 flat rides and about 10-12 vending machines/shops and 2 staff houses. I'm on an XSX, granted, but I've not really seen anything beyond the occasional hiccup and I've got at least a few thousand assets down. I thought loading it in they would go the zoo tycoon route or make it like Jurassic World where you place premade items instead of building them. The freedom that they gave console players is beyond anything else on the system to my knowledge, its definitely quite the technical feat!
